There are so many different types of cakes out there – vanilla, chocolate, red velvet… and one of my favorites – carrot cake! I feel that carrot cake tends to get a bad rep sometimes or just completely forgotten. If carrot cake is made correctly though it can be just as moist and delicious as any other cake. I love this recipe by Mummy Made It. Not only is it moist and delicious – but it comes with a great frosting that you are bound to make again and again for other desserts.
This recipe is one of those recipes that when you eat it you almost feel naughty. It’s just that good. This molten chocolate cake by Downshiftology is so decadent and rich I almost am drooling just thinking about it. The combination of the rich chocolate and delicious light coconut whipped cream is perfect. ANd of course it’s made with all real ingredients and completely Paleo. Win win!

My grandmother always loved a good coffee cake. Anytime we decide to have her over for breakfast or dinner I always make her a delicious pan of coffee cake. Wanting to see if I could find a Paleo recipe that was just as good as her favorite recipe I cooked up Cook it Up Paleo’s cinnamon swirl coffee cake and my grandmother never tasted a difference. Moist, crunchy, delicious and filled with that flavor you are always looking for in a coffee cake.
Pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin! I seriously can’t get enough of pumpkin recipes! I love them all! Another great one to add to the list is A Girl Worth Saving’s recipe for a Paleo pumpkin mug cake. Yes you heard me right. We all love cake in the mug recipes because they are so easy and then you get the perfect serving size just for you. I love the taste of gingerbread – it always reminds me of the holidays and makes me feel like I’m back at home by the fireplace watching the snow fall. Well even if it’s not the holidays and not snowing I still get the craving for gingerbread now and again. One of my favorite things to do with gingerbread is making a gingerbread cake! Skinny Mixers has put together a great Paleo version of that delicious homey gingerbread cake.
For some reason one of my most favorite desserts growing up as a kid was my grandma’s vanilla cake. It was a simple vanilla cake with just vanilla icing. Most people probably found this boring but any time I could request her to make dessert that is what I’d tell her to make. It was moist and delicious and heavenly. When I came across this recipe by Paleo Grubs I had to give it a try and if there is anything close to my grandmothers recipe this is the one. For all those fellow vanilla cake lovers out there – you’ve got to try it!
Who says going Paleo means you cant have delicious treats? Not me! I’m all about finding delicious paleo dessert recipes – and I find it a personal challenge to try these recipes out on my non-Paleo friends to see if they even notice. Well this recipe by Paleo Newbie for chocolate cupcakes with “peanut butter” frosting rose to the challenge and got amazing raving reviews from all that ate them. So moist. So delicious. And that frosting! So delicious.
