Meatloaf a lot of times gets a bad name… it doesn’t have to be a flavorless brick of meat. Meatloaf can be a great quick dinner you can put together that is full of flavor and even full of veggies. What I love about this Paleo meatloaf recipe by Nom Nom Paleo is the fact that she has made them into muffins! So not only do you have a great delicious meal – you have one that you can take on the go! Sign me up!
Anytime I hear the word cheesecake my ears immediately perk up. I mean… it’s cheesecake! In my opinion when it comes to desserts you can’t go wrong with cheesecake. The only probably is if you are having a bigger group of people over – one cheese cake usually isn’t enough to share or go around. Which brings us to cheesecake bites. These delicious little morsels are perfect for a big party… make up a batch and everyone gets a taste of delicious cheesecake. And the best part – Paleomg has given us an amazing Paleo version.
I remember the first time I tried a stuffed mushroom… not being a fan of mushrooms I was sure I wouldn’t like it. But I stuck to my rule to always try something once. Boy am I glad I did – stuffed mushrooms are a magical delicious and nutritious item. They can also be a not so healthy food choice if made the wrong way – but you don’t have to sacrifice taste for health with these delicious stuffed mushrooms by Balanced Bites. Even if you aren’t a fan of mushrooms – trust me and give these a try. So delicious.
Since I’ve been in a major soup kick I’ve tried all sorts of different kinds of soups – from stews to tomato based soups there are so many different kinds you can try. One of my favorites is not your traditional type of soup – which is part of why I love it so much. It’s nice to have a change of pace and flavors when it comes to dinner time. Stupid Easy Paleo has made an incredible Thai coconut soup that will delight your taste buds.
Chicken dishes are amazing for adding a bit of zest into you life. Whether it’s lemon chicken or orange chicken or maybe a mexican lime chicken. Well why not combine two of those together to make an amazing orange and lemon citrus chicken? Paleo Leap has done just that – making this chicken dish really pop! Add in the delicious herb spices they’ve used and you have an amazing zesty chicken dinner you’ll want to make again and again.
There are so many different types of cakes out there – vanilla, chocolate, red velvet… and one of my favorites – carrot cake! I feel that carrot cake tends to get a bad rep sometimes or just completely forgotten. If carrot cake is made correctly though it can be just as moist and delicious as any other cake. I love this recipe by Mummy Made It. Not only is it moist and delicious – but it comes with a great frosting that you are bound to make again and again for other desserts.
Did you know that salmon is one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat? So not only is it a delicious fish – it’s a great go to protein for a healthy meal. This recipe by Paleo Leap is the perfect balance of feeling fancy and decadent while being very simple and easy to make. Plus the combination of the orange with the salmon is one of my favorites. Add in that Rosemary and you are set to go!
Desserts that I don’t have to bake are some of my favorite. I love how easy they are. Which is what caught my attention of this awesome recipe by Paleo Hacks for this no-bake peppermint chocolate cheesecake. Basically they put all my favorite words into this recipe – no-bake? Check. Peppermint chocolate? Check. Cheesecake? Check. Delicious dessert? Double check. Basically you can’t go wrong with this amazing recipe.
Sometimes it’s nice to have something special for breakfast – and let’s face it, there are days when you want more of a treat for breakfast then a savory meal. But just because you want a treat like breakfast doesn’t mean it has to be unhealthy. One of my favorite treat like breakfast items are scones. Basically I feel like I get to eat a cookie for breakfast – where can you go wrong with that!? One of my favorite scone recipes is Cure Joy’s recipe for these banana chocolate chip scones.
Sometimes during the winter I like to brighten things up with a delicious salad and this salad by Paleo Leap is one of the first ones on my list of must-haves. The beautiful eggs, tart apple slices and sweetness of the cranberries and clementines makes for a great combination that will make your mouth super happy. If you are a big salad lover and looking for a salad that leaves you full while enlivening your taste buds then you’ll love this salad and all it has to offer.
